The BC Racing HM Series coilover system gets its qualities from a combination of two previous BC Racing systems — the RM Series and the ER Series. It uses an inverted mono-tube damper, just like the RM Series, and adds the independent compression and rebound adjustment of the ER Series.
Each HM Series system uses inverted mono-tube dampers front and rear on McPherson strut vehicles, with steel braided lines leading from the top of the damper to the external reservoirs. Those reservoirs allow a higher oil capacity with the added benefit of increased thermal dissipation, and they also house the secondary damping piston.

Before you order
An optional check valve keeps rebound and compression adjustments separate, reducing oil flow interference. This allows for more accurate tuning, sharper handling and improved performance under aggressive driving, but may not be ideal for those who prioritise ride comfort.
Noise from track-oriented products such as the DS, RM, ER, HM, ZR or ZX coilovers is not covered by warranty.
