Öhlins

Advanced suspension technology from Sweden since 1976

Born in Racing

Öhlins was founded in 1976 by Kenth Öhlin, who began rebuilding motocross shock absorbers in his father's workshop because nothing on the market did what he wanted. Two years later an Öhlins-equipped KTM took the 250cc motocross world title — the first of more than 400 world championships.

Racing technology, road products

Everything Öhlins makes is developed for competition first. TTX twin-tube damping, the electronically controlled CES valve and the carbon MotoGP forks all started as race parts before reaching production cars and bikes. The factory in Upplands Väsby, Sweden builds around 400,000 units a year, and exports almost all of them.

Road & Track, the range we import, brings that technology to street cars: assembled, pre-valved coilovers using Öhlins' DFV valve technology, built to stay comfortable on the road without giving up control on track.
